Description:
The selected person will join the Infectious pathology and antimicrobials research group (Translational Clinical Research Program).
Task:
Transnational clinical research in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models: Cultures and identification of microorganisms, molecular epidemiology studies and resistance mechanisms. Studies of lethality corbes. Hollow-Fiber studies and experiments. Validation of antimicrobial levels. Obtaining and interpreting pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters. Data analysis and publication of results.
Formation:
Master's Degree in Microbiology.
Experience:
Proper handling of cultures and identification of micro-organisms. Performance of in vitro laboratory techniques. Experience in in vitro pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models and research in the treatment of infections caused by multi-resistant bacteria.
Knowledge:
High English level.
Additional information:
The cost of the contract is subsidized by the Carlos III Health Institute.This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
