Project title:

Incorporation of support staff to the PERIS research groups (16022)

Research group / Service:

B cell biology research group

Description:

The selected person will join the B cell biology research group (Translational Clinical Research Program).

Task:

Design large scale experiments in collaboration with other members of the group. Perform computational data analysis and interpret large scale datasets. Develop computation strategies to address specific biological questions.

Formation:

Bachelor in Biotechnology. The PhD in Cell Biology will be evaluated

Experience:

Proven experience in computational biology, immunology, systems biology, bioinformatics or related field. Experience in Immunoglobulin/T cell receptor repertoire analysis and single cell-RNA seq analysis.

Knowledge:

Statistical skills, experience with omics datasets (e.g., RNAseq, transcriptome analysis, NGS technologies, microbiome, metabolome data) and proficiency in standard analytical platforms (e.g., R, Matlab, OMIQ, Cytobank). Programming: R (high), Python (medium), SQL (basic), HTML (basic), PHP (basic). qPCR and sequencing raw data analysis. Computational genomics analysis. Machine learning techniques (RStudio, Python). Database creation, handling, and analysis (RStudio, MySQL). Proficiency in English and scientific writing skills are a must.
