Description:

The selected person will join the Integrative biomedical informatics research group (Biomedical informatics research program).

Task:

The candidate will develop data analysis workflows for data gathering, integration, analysis and visualization of genomic and other omics dataset to support the functional interpretation of risk variants associated with human diseases. The candidate will interact with the Spanish clinical genomics community and will participate in networking, communication and training activities.

Formation:

Master in Bioinformatics

Experience:

Experience in database management will be valued.

Knowledge:

Expertise in data analytics in R or Python, bioinformatic workflow development (e.g. Nextflow). Familiarity with Linux, bash, and version control systems (e.g. git). Fluent spoken and written English.

Additional information:

The cost of the contract is subsidized by the Carlos III Health Institute.
