Committee for the integrity of research and good scientific practice

The Research Integrity and Good Scientific Practice Committee was set up by the Hospital del Mar Research Institute Board of Directors with the aim of acting independently and being completely at the service of the scientific community and research staff, supporting research quality and contributing to preserving its integrity.

Its functions are to:

• Develop strategies that encourage the Hospital del Mar Research Institute research to adhere to the PRBB Code of Good Scientific Practice.
• Ensure that the Hospital del Mar Research Institute researchers and research support staff are well trained in good scientific practice.
• Implement the procedure for investigating possible cases of scientific malpractice.
• Investigate possible cases of scientific malpractice.
