Description:

The selected person will join the Kidney disease research group (Translational Clinical Research Program).

Task:

Preparing basic buffers in the laboratory. He/she will learn to perform a Western Blot, DNA extraction and PCR. In a later phase the person will manage the laboratory supplies and organize purchasing. Furthermore, protein extraction, RNA extraction and enzymatic activities from mouse renal tissue will be learnt.

Formation:

Degree in biochemistry or similar.

Experience:

Experience acquired in practical lessons throughout the studies are required and more short experiences in other labs will be well evaluated.The candidate will know some basic skills in the research lab such as pipeting, pHmetre calibration, calculations from molar units to gram units and preparing basic buffers in a research lab, and at least, the First Certificate in English (FCE).

Knowledge:

The candidate will know skills in the research lab such as pipeting, pHmetre calibration, calculations from molar units to gram units and preparing basic buffers in a research lab, and at least, the First Certificate in English (FCE). Experience in cell culture techniques is mandatory.
