Tools for preventing respiratory complications in COVID-19 patients

The patient recruitment process for the project is now complete and the analysis can begin once funding is available. The hypothesis of the project is based on the fact that people who have a very severe SARS-CoV-2 infection with severe lung involvement have a certain genetic fingerprint that can be detected in their blood. This fingerprint is an excellent biomarker thanks to which we will be able to see very early on in the infection which patients could develop complications involving this severe form and offer them better treatment.
