Description:

The selected person will join the Internal Services (Scientific and technical support Program).

Task:

The candidate will provide services to MARBiobanc. Among their tasks are included biobank biological sample preparation techniques such as histological sectioning, staining, DNA/RNA extraction, DNA/RNA quantification, PCR techniques, library preparation.

Formation:

Technician in clinical laboratory and analysis or similar. Specialized courses in NGS techniques.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in nucleic acid extraction and quality control techniques; also in library preparation techniques, microarray processing, and quantitative PCR. Independence in the laboratory, good laboratory practices, and knowledge in maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment are required.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of English at a user level and understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Additional information:

Knowledge of cytochemical and flow cytometry techniques will be valued; as well as having a minimum of 2 scientific publications.
