Citizen Participation Process in the National Health Pact

Sociodemographic, epidemiological, technological and societal demand changes make it necessary to face a transformation of the health system in order to promote both its own sustainability and the improvement of expected health outcomes.

In order to carry out this transformation, long term strategies are needed, which go beyond the cycles of government, as well as the commitment between the different agents that have influence there. For this reason, it is considered necessary to do so through a National Health Pact.

In the process of elaborating this Pact, the Department of Health has launched a participatory process aimed at citizens in order to gather their vision and proposals for transforming the Catalan Health System. This participation will be carried out through a questionnaire on the portal Participa.gencat.cat, until February 18, 2024.
